This web site is dedicated to the Belgian Malinois (Mal-in-wah) breed, my dogs and the dogs that I have bred.

Malinois are the short coated version of the Belgian Shepherd Dog. They range in color from a fawn to a deep mahogany with or without a black overlay finished off with a black mask. Developed in Belgium in the mid 1800’s as both sheep herding and guardian farm dogs. The Belgian Malinois breed was the first used by police as a police dog.

Malinois are high energy dogs, driven to work and really do best when they have a job to do, whether it is agility, tracking, police work, SAR, herding, obedience, ring sports or a multitude of other activities these dogs are not usually for a novice dog owner. Malinois are between 22 to 26 inches tall at the withers and weigh in between 40 to 80 pounds with females being smaller than the males.

“Once you’ve owned a malinois, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.”
Tim Conroy
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do with your malinois than by the things you did do.”
Mary Twain
